In a fitting tribute to the power and depth of his patriotism, even in death, Sadler's last musical project, Of Thee I Sing, has
become a centerpiece for the official U.S. celebration of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus' voyage to America.

His Of Thee I Sing research resulted in a collection of historical popular music from different eras in our nation's history,
from the genesis of the American Revolution to the dawn of the 19th century. Sadler came up with the idea for a musical
tribute to the nation in 1975; he began researching original popular songs from throughout America's history at the Library
of Congress, the National Archives and the Smithsonian Institution. ~ Soldier Of Fortune, September 1992 ~
